Though the ACAAN (Any Card At Any Number) plot has been around since the 1920's (and perhaps even earlier), very little has been done with it that truly changed how it was perceived by the spectator, both pyschologically and visually. With this brand new presentation and methodology, InvisACAAN (Invisible Card At Any Number) kills two birds with one stone.
The participant is shown a card box, and an "invisible" pack of cards is apparently removed. They are invited to shuffle it as much as they want, and then are asked to select any card, then place it back wherever they wish, either face-up or face-down. Once the invisible cards have been "handed back" to the performer, the spectator is asked to name the card that they chose, as well as the position in the pack it was in. Finally, the invisible cards are "dealt" to the table, whereupon the freely thought-of card visually appears on the table in the orientation that the participant specified. Everything is examinable.
